On Thursday, July 2, 2026, Black Headline News launched the "BLACK-IN" campaign in conjunction with the July Fourth holiday weekend, using the first forum in a series to educate viewers about the plight and history of the Black press, urging viewers to support Black media with valid, copious explanations. Tonight's pastors include Pastor Al Green of Rugged Cross Church, Pastor B.T. Lewis of Rising Star Baptist Church and Pastor Alicia of Maranatha Church.


Award-winning news publishers Cheryl Smith of Texas Metro News, Julia Ann Dudley Najieb of ONME News, and Brigitte Jones of The Bay Area Review, are continuing tonight with week three of the BLACK-IN fundraiser, starting at 4:00 PM PST/6:00 PM CDT. Learn more the Black church and the Black press, how they intend to work together.    


As donations are tax deductible through fiscal agent nonprofit, The CMAC, Inc., the live fundraiser calls for a support of Black media, asking businesses, organizations, and individuals, who would like to financially support, to donate, there are ways to support Black media at no cost: subscribe to their media outlets, pick up a newspaper and pass it to others, watch a news broadcast and comment, listen to a radio broadcast and comment, visit their websites and read/watch some of their news stories, or be of service.

NEXT SHOW: July 23, 2026, starting at 4p PDT/ 6p CDT/7p EDT, listeners or watchers can chime in live, donate to the cause and watch it live online at the Black Headline News website, listen via BHN web radio or watch it live on CTV platforms Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Google TV.


Meanwhile, Black Headline News will postpone its weekly, Sunday night show, BHN Talk Radio, until the fundraising campaign concludes at the end of this summer.
